Dr. Tabitha Lewis received a Bachelor of Science degree from Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama, in 2015. In 2019, she graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where she obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
As a child, Dr. Lewis experienced living in multiple areas, including Ohio, Alabama, New York, the U.S Virgin Islands and Massachusetts. This provided her with the opportunity to explore new and different places, as well as offer new opportunities and treasured experiences. When Dr. Lewis was 14, her own pediatric dentist inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. Also, as a child, she observed her parents foster children and devote their lives to uplifting others. As a result, Dr. Lewis was taught to exemplify values of gentleness, integrity, compassion, service, hope, generosity, kindness, and humbleness. She enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, volunteering, crocheting , trying new cuisines, and fencing.

Volunteer Experience
​
During her time at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Lewis engaged in outreach projects that demonstrated her commitment to the oral health of children and special needs adults.
Dr. Lewis was accepted into the highly esteemed Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Boston Chapter. As a fellow, she created and implemented an oral health project targeting youth without homes. Overseas in Haiti and Peru, she enjoyed coalescing her passion for service and public health. Dr. Lewis' notable and extensive outreach and leadership at Tufts led to her induction into the prestigious Honos Civicus Society.
Dr. Lewis enjoys pouring into the youth. She is a mentor for Silver Lining Mentoring, a non-profit uplifting youth affected by the foster care system.
