Dr. Gili Naveh is a board-certified orthodontist and biomedical researcher dedicated to advancing innovation at the intersection of orthodontics and engineering. She earned her D.M.D. from Tel Aviv University, M.Sc. from the Hebrew University, Ph.D from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and M.S.D/C.A.G.S in Orthodontics from Boston University.
After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, she then joined Tufts University, where she serves as Associate Professor and directs an NIH-funded research lab focused on orthodontics, periodontics, imaging, and digital workflows.
Dr. Naveh is also the Founder of CaviSense Inc., a Harvard/Tufts spinoff developing early cavity detection technologies. Her work has earned multiple honors, including the 2025 Tufts Rising Innovator Award.
Outside of her academic and entrepreneurial pursuits, she enjoys mentoring young researchers, exploring biomedical innovations, and spending time with her family.
